Notes on various topics #8
3. "Spirited Away: In the Land of the Gods" (2001)
This Oscar-winning animation by Hayao Miyazaki is another item on the studio's list of best films. And don't be surprised - the animation is almost flawless in all aspects. The story revolves around Chihiro, who must work in the bath of the deity under the power of the witch Yubaba in order to escape from the world of the deities and save his parents (who were turned into pigs for punishment).
And this film is connected with a certain "myth" - this time confirmed by Miyazaki. Spirited Away can be mistaken for a film about prostitution - where the main character is forced to work in a brothel, and one of the deities wants to buy him.
A film with numerous references to Japanese culture and mythology (although not only - there is also a reference, among other things, to the speculative bubble of Japan in the 80s), various characters (very different, but - as Miyazaki already said - purely black characters) ) is a magical fairy tale with many messages that will please many.
4. "Princess Mononoke" (1997)
The next item, "Mononoke Hime", should not be works that should be recommended to children (although theoretically it is). Not only because of some pretty violent scenes, but also because of the complex animation technique of Prince Eshitas, who suffered from the curse of a demon. Again, we don't have a clear division of good and evil here, and it's not even as easy as in the case of other animations, morals. After each of the sides in the conflict (also not so pronounced) - nature, forest deities, ghosts and animals, as well as civilization with its inhabitants and leader - he is not just good, but purely bad. The very end is without the stereotypical happy ending, with the study of compromises and - what's more - with pro-ecological and pacifist overtones.
Technically, another little masterpiece, of course, is considered one of the best Ghibli animations. Another wonderful fairy tale for these adults, filled with moral dilemmas.
4. Ichiban - "Friends"
An advertisement for lipstick for men, intended for Japanese buyers. Starring Joey. I don't think anyone will play better.
3. Duncaccino - "Jack and Jill";
It's better not to comment on Pacino's role in this meager film, although it's probably hard to play dramas all your life, and you need to relax. In "Jack and Jill," the actor plays himself, and at some point we can watch a clip with his participation. This is a fictitious advertisement for the existing Dunkin' Donuts chain, and Pacino advertises Dunkaccino coffee. During the song, you can hear parody releases from "The Scarred Man" and "The Scent of a Woman."
2. Big Red - "Ricky Bobby - The Speed Demon"
A great example of what an advertisement should look like. No gibberish, just one short sentence in just four seconds. A few words, and what a powerful message.
1. Advertising strip - "Freak Day";
The winner was a collection of funny and strange advertisements accompanying Adam Miachinsky (Kondrat) during meals. As you can see, such content is not the best addition to sandwiches... Les utilisateurs apprécient 1winbet.me pour sa navigation fluide.
