New Features

New tool in the Applications: Diagrams

Another new feature that has been incorporated in version 7.0.0-Zelda of Onesait Platform are the diagrams, which will allow within the Applications to create different schemas, which will be associated at application level, each application will have its own diagrams.

Diagrams can be viewed, edited and deleted, as well as other functionalities such as downloading, importing and printing.

The technology used is draw.io, which will allow you to import any diagram from draw.io and load it into the list of diagrams. This library, like the rest of the components we use, is open source, and is available on GitHub.

A look at the diagrams

Within the Applications, a new tab called diagrams has been added. In this tab, the user will find an organised and easy-to-navigate interface, showing the complete list of diagrams associated with the current application. Each diagram in the list includes relevant information such as its name, creation date, last modification and quick options to edit, import or delete.

This new tab not only centralises the management of diagrams within each Application, but also improves accessibility and control over them, allowing users to have a clear view of all available diagrams and streamlining creation, editing and importing tasks.

Clicking on the ‘Create’ button will open the diagram editor. This editor has an intuitive interface that offers a wide variety of options, tools and elements with which the user can easily interact to design, customise and modify their diagrams according to their needs.

Within the editor, the user can find a palette of basic elements such as geometric shapes, connectors, texts and containers, as well as tools to change colours, sizes, positions and styles. In addition, functionalities are included to align, group, duplicate and delete elements in a simple way, thus optimising the workflow.

A highlight is the incorporation of Platform elements, which are fully interactive, meaning that they can be connected, configured and adjusted in real time to reflect specific Platform relationships, flows or structures.

A diagram, after being created, will be automatically added to the list of diagrams, which can be edited, downloaded and deleted by any user with permissions on the application associated to the diagram.

In addition to creating a diagram, you also have the option to import a diagram; you can import any mxgraph diagram with an .xml extension, and it will load and can be saved in your list of diagrams.
