New mailbox manager in Onesait Platform
Until now, we had a series of APIs available for sending emails with the mailbox provided by the Platform. This option will continue to exist, but from this release 6.1.0-Warcraft of Onesait Platform, a mailbox manager has been added to the Control Panel, so that each user can create their own mailboxes.
This new concept has the same security as any other element of the Platform, can be public or private, and can be shared within an application so that it can be used by all users of the application.
How does it work?
A new menu option has been added that will allow us to access the e-mail manager and the list of e-mails available to the user. This can be found in Development Tools > Mailbox Management.
As in all Control Panel screens, we have the option to create a new mailbox by selecting the ‘+’ option:
This will take us to the form to create a new mailbox.
Once the mailbox has been created, you only need to use the APIs provided by the Control Panel to send mails:
All the APIs have the ‘default’ field, in the case of selecting ‘true’ the default mailbox configured by the administrator in the centralised configuration of the Platform will be used, which is the mailbox that has been used until now.
In the case of selecting ‘false’, it is necessary to indicate the identifier of the mailbox to be used, bearing in mind that the user making the request must have permissions over the mailbox.
